Wimmera Bird Expo, Saturday May 6th 2023

2023 will be the Wimmera Bird Club's ffourth bird expo and as can be seen in the photo above, we have a large venue for it. Tables are booking out fast so make sure you book early by calling Greg on 0429 827 639.

What is a Bird Expo?

Bird expos are a place for Aviculturist (Bird Keepers) to display their birds and yes, most of the birds that are on display are for sale but bird expos are more than just selling and buying birds, they are a place to learn, catch up with friends and make some new ones.

A common questions is "What birds will be there?" and we can not answer that as the Aviculturist bring what they have and we, just like the viewing public will not know until we have a look around at the sale. What we can say is the common species like Budgies, Cockatiels, Indian Ring-necks and Zebra finches are normally at the expos but there are many other species too so it's always worth a look.

The best time to be at a bird expo is in the first hour as once the birds are sold the sellers pack up and the sale might be over sooner than expected.
